Starting a new Entrepreneurship class next year, but they will not buy me any books. Any suggestions on notes and homework assignments.

perhaps to better address your question, I have them start an online store. Most assignments and activities revolve around this goal.

i have taken a turn away from the ”traditional” method of teaching this course. i really dont spend time on forms of ownership, picking a location, etc. let’s be honest, our students will start with a sole proprietorship. Location will not matter because they will start an online store. Financing is not critical because we will teach them to bootstrap. I have even considered changing my course name to Digital Entrepreneurship, but for now i am sticking with You, Inc.

Any chance they would invest in a $99 a year curriculum? BizInnovator through University of Iowa offers a curriculum online that has great resources for Entrepreneurship. I just took the course for instructors and was able to pay for it as PD through Perkins. After you take the course, you can offer college credit to juniors and seniors--the students take the test and if they score a 70 or better they have the option of purchasing 3 credits for $150. It was too good a deal to pass up. My first semester of students will test in June. This is the website: https://bizinnovator.com/. I have also used a lot of DECA resources for student projects. My students are currently working in groups to complete the Start Up Business plan https://www.deca.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/HS_ESB_Guidelines.pdf there are other options too.
