I am a marketing and technology teacher by day, and a parent and husband the rest of the time. Oh, and I throw in a little entrepreneurial project as my side gig.  I started TheMarketingTeacher nearly 20 years ago.

 

I am originally from Wisconsin (Go Packers) and moved when I married a local from Utah. We have two daughters with a son sandwiched in between.

 

I have a BS in Marketing Education and an MST in Marketing Education from the University of Wisconsin -Whitewater.

 

I have taught marketing, business, and technology for 40 years. I think going to college is a great idea, but only if there isn't a better idea. I want students to do what works for them. My college adviser taught me that learning is from "womb to tomb." He was right.

 

I enjoy reading and love messing around with technology--hardware and software (but mostly software). My favorite books are Purple Cow by Seth Godin and The Greatest Miracle in the World by Og Mandino.
