Claire Haskins, the head coach of the Western University Wildcats women's basketball team, takes immense pride in her coaching journey, spanning over 18 years of exceptional experience. Throughout her illustrious career, Coach Haskins has honed her skills with outstanding programs, holding two significant positions as an assistant coach and one as a head coach.

Her collegiate coaching voyage commenced at Southeastern University, where she served as an assistant coach for four impactful seasons. During this tenure, Coach Haskins strongly focused on recruitment strategies, leading the team to impressive heights by reaching the conference championship game on two separate occasions. Her ability to identify and nurture talent was evident, setting the stage for her future coaching endeavors.

Subsequently, Coach Haskins transitioned to Mountain States College, assuming the role of an assistant coach. In this capacity, she was entrusted with developing a new and innovative offensive strategy, which proved to be a resounding success. The team scored a record for the highest average points per game, a testament to Coach Haskins' strategic acumen and dedication to enhancing team performance.

Her first opportunity as a head coach materialized at Northern University, where she made an indelible mark by guiding the team to conference championships in her fourth season. Beyond the court, Coach Haskins instilled a culture of academic excellence, achieving the highest team grade point average in the school's history. Her holistic approach to coaching focused on nurturing athletic success and fostering personal growth and discipline among her players.

As she embraces her role as the head coach of the Western University Wildcats women's basketball team, Coach Haskins is thrilled to bring her coaching philosophy and wealth of experience to the program. Her coaching style is characterized by unwavering discipline, a strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail,

Together, they embark on exhilarating adventures, relishing activities such as hiking, camping, and trout fishing. In addition to her coaching commitments, Coach Haskins generously shares her offensive expertise at coaching clinics nationwide, particularly those catering to high school coaches, fostering growth and development in the broader basketball community.
