How large can my image be?

 

• On Facebook, your image can be up to 1200 x 1200 pixels. 1200 x 628 is optimal.

 

How long can my video clips be?

 

• When using on Facebook, your video clips can be up to 20 seconds long.

 

How can I save and share stories?

 

• You can save and share them directly through your app, or through your Messenger app. Open up Facebook's mobile app on iOS or Android. Stories can only be posted on mobile. Go to the timeline of any Page for which you're an Admin. Tap “Create Story to get started. Add photos and videos as needed.

 

• When you are ready to publish, tap on the arrow icon in the center of the screen. Select Your Story.” Tap on the Send button on the bottom right of your screen. You can also send your story to selected friends via Messenger.

 

How can I control who sees my stories?

 

You can edit who sees your stories after you've taken your photo or video.

 

• Tap to choose your audience.

 

• Tap next to Your Story. You will see these options:

 

• Public: Your Facebook friends, followers, and people you've connected with on Messenger will see your stories. Anyone who follows you can see your story, but only people you're friends with can reply to it.

 

• Friends and Connections: Your Facebook friends and Messenger connections will see your stories.

 

• Friends Only: Only your Facebook friends will see your story on Facebook and the Messenger app. Your Messenger connections will not see your story.

 

• Custom: You can select specific people who will be able to see your stories.

 

How can I hide or delete stories?

 

• You can hide and delete stories once they have been published by going to your activity log and locating the story you wish to hide or delete. Click Delete or Hide From Timeline below the story to delete or hide it from your timeline.

 

How can I tag someone in a story?

 

• Tag someone in a story by using the @ symbol and their user name. This works the same way on many sites. Adding this tag notifies people that they have been “mentioned” and need to look at the story.

 

How can I add a sticker to a story?

 

• Get free and paid stickers at https://www.facebook.com/FacebookStickers/

 

• When your story is published, each element will appear as a thumbnail. Click on your thumbnail of choice to edit it.

 

How can I add a link to a story?

• Click on the element you wish to add the link to. Place it in a text field. It should appear at the bottom of the screen as a clickable link.

How can I see who has viewed my story?

 

• When someone has seen your story, the will appear in the bottom left. Tap it to see the names. A blue dot will appear beside both the view count and the name of the new viewer. Your Facebook friends who have viewed your story will be listed first. If you allow Messenger connections, their names will appear below the friends list.

 

Note that if you have set your privacy to Public, you can see the number of followers who have viewed your story, but not specific follower names.
